Celebrating Another Great Fall Athletic Season

The Greenwood school community gathered in the gym on Monday, November 18, to celebrate a great fall athletic season. It has been a spectacular term, with 18 athletic teams, seven Grade 12 spotlight events, and five CISAA Championships.

There was an incredibly strong showing from multiple teams this season with four having undefeated seasons. The Senior Girls’ Soccer team played in a CAIS tournament in Stanstead, Quebec where they challenged themselves and played in a higher division. Elle Macrae ‘26 also represented Greenwood in Ottawa at the OFSAA cross country meet.

This term also saw Greenwood’s first-ever Friday Afternoon Lights where the school community came out on September 27 to cheer on our Senior Girls’ Basketball and Senior Boys’ Volleyball teams.
