Our visionary campus is one of the most advanced among Canadian independent schools.

 
Our building, expanded and renovated in 2016, includes a generous mix of quiet work spaces and social spaces, giving students room to talk, laugh, work and learn independently and together. The expansion increased the school’s square footage by 120% while maintaining our close-knit community feel.

• Flexible learning spaces adapt to student needs. The Learning Commons and rooftop terrace open up new social and academic possibilities, while our Student Success Centre supports students with both a teaching room and quiet work areas.

• Two gymnasiums double our capacity for indoor athletics. Retractable bleachers hold nearly 600 people. Our Fitness Room supports both team training sessions and individual workouts.

• Artistic endeavours flourish in our performance theatre. Retractable seating accommodates more than 140 people and cutting-edge lighting and sound enhance every performance. Additional Arts facilities include soundproof music rooms, a state-of-the-art digital media lab and spacious visual arts studios.

• Modern science facilities reward discovery. Our senior science lab allows labwork, collaborative study and individual experimentation to occur simultaneously, while our rooftop classroom supports outdoor activities and hands-on environmental education.

With a generous mix of quiet work spaces and social spaces, students have the room they need to talk, laugh, work and learn independently and together. 

Greenwood’s campus extends across and beyond the Canadian canvas through our Outdoor Education program. Younger students participate in programs at camps in Algonquin Park and the surrounding area, and older students experience destinations further afield, from sea kayaking in British Columbia to exploring the rainforest in Costa Rica.
